A Rendezvous: Post-Production

It’s been two weeks since our fabulous day at Ray Lum Photography. It’s amazing how quickly gears shift for post-production. It reminds me of putting together the three acts of a screenplay; you organize and introduce the elements of making the film a reality (Act 1), you put together the visuals of the story on shoot day (Act 2), and now you have to bring it to a fitting conclusion with a post-production team that shares the same vision of the final cut (Act 3). It’s the beginning, middle, and end of a film. And since I’m a big fan of happy, satisfying endings with big pay-offs, I think you can guess what my goal is for A Rendezvous.

We are continuing to fundraise on indiegogo, so if you feel you still want to be a part of the film, please visit the site and make a donation. The page will stay up until May 25th, and then we no longer will be able to guarantee any kind of credit on film festival submissions. We are hoping to lock down the final edit by then.

On that note, we’ve also added another draw prize. A well-respected Southern Ontario psychic has donated two phone call consultations as draw prizes. She has an international clientele and over thirty-two years of experience. I think this would be a fun experience to start the spring with, so feel free to donate to become eligible for the draw prizes.

I know I promised set photos, but you’ll have to wait a little bit longer for that. (So sorry.) As soon as we’re organized on that front, I’ll share with you the cast and crew links, as well as the images. There was a lot of footage to go through and our set photographer, Michelle Lamberson, is doing it as we speak. Here’s a little teaser of what’s to come.

 Welcome to the morning set-up.
