Crazy 8’s Producer On Board

We’re two weeks away from the first cut announcement from Crazy 8’s 2012.  As noted in a previous blog post, the event is a venerable institution in the Vancouver film community.  I understand that there are 120 video pitch submissions for this, the first round. From here, the event will trim down to the top forty pitches, and the chosen individuals will then pitch to a live panel. It’s a big cut, and a little frightening, but I’ve taken the approach that it’s best to continue to line my ducks in a row, just in case we’re on to the next level.

So, with that in mind, I’m excited to announce I’ve found the perfect producer for Happily Never After. Isabelle Swiderski is the Creative Director of Seven25 Design and Typography. She is also a filmmaker, and writes, directs, and produces content for her clients on the web, as well as produces her own narrative short films.

I have worked with Isabelle twice before; on her own short film, The Ties That Remain, and on a project we have in post called, Chaos Management. She brings an excellent sense of detail, and focus to everything she does. Plus the creative feedback she has already brought to the project has been invaluable.  I’m very fortunate to have Isabelle on board for Happily Never After, and can’t wait to work with her again.

You can find out more about Isabelle Swiderski on her blog, Design Influence, and follow her on Twitter at Seven25.
