Muse, JR Talent, and Lucas Talent Merge

A blockbuster of a merger was announced on June 12th, 2014. Lucas Talent Inc, JR Talent Inc, and Muse Artist Management merged to form one giant, dynamic, and forward thinking talent agency in Vancouver. The new Lucas Talent Inc will be a central hub for great talent in all facets of film, from in front and behind the camera, to those who work on the page. More than anything, it’s a commitment to a unified philosophy of service to clients, casting and production.

Why am I blogging about this? The agents at Muse Artist Management have become good friends and trusted colleagues over the last few years. Leyla Carreira, Brad Mellesmoan, Emilio Salituro and close friend and supporter Kim Barsanti represent their clients with a high degree of professionalism. What makes them special is that they never lose sight of the human factor; getting to know their clients, caring about them as people first, and working with them to build strong and vibrant careers. If you put the time in with these agents, they put the time in with you.

Today is the last day that Muse Artist Management is officially at their Denman Street address. It was a special place, warm and welcoming. I’m sure the new digs will be just as great, primarily because Corey Oullet, the office administrator at Muse, is also making the move. Corey is an organizational whiz, and he does it all while still maintaining a warm and welcoming smile for everyone who enters their doors.

As of 7/7/14, all the agents of the new, grand, Lucas Talent Inc will be under one roof. To everyone involved with the merger, I wish you the greatest of success with the new company. To my friends at Muse, thank you for all your support. I’ll miss the old offices, but I know it wasn’t the location that made you successful, it’s who you are as people, and I have all the faith in the world that this new venture will be one fantastic production!
